The consideration of this great region can be abstract and thought independently from the spaces within it.

The Institute of the Mediterranean aims to contribute to the coherence of economic and territorial airspace, by its reflection and intellectual productions, its strategic directions and actions of cooperation.

The Institute of the Mediterranean directs all its activities and expertise to serve those territories: European Commission, states, regions, departments, cities, Chambers of Commerce and Industry. The Institute accompanies them in the process of building a Euro-Mediterranean region. The Institute is the spokesman for the Mediterranean actors to promote a global vision and integrated policies in the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership.
