- Provide a platform to discuss the impacts of the global crisis in the Mediterranean partner countries of the EU identify and examine the different responses of the states and local governments.
- Examine how this issue is taken into account in the multilateral (implements) devices (IMF, World Bank), and the Euro-Mediterranean devices, in particular the Union for the Mediterranean.
- Open a debate to discuss the extent of foreseeable adjustments, present alternatives, given the degree of exposure of different Mediterranean countries to the risk of crisis and the specific nature of those risks.
- Present a final draft of recommendations to become aware of the needs, the urgency for appropriate action and its procedures, particularly in terms of projects under the Union for the Mediterranean.
